Banbridge Academy travelled to Newtownards on Saturday 25th January to take on Regent in the Ulster Schools Bowl .

Despite a good start from Regent, a determined and strong Banbridge team pushed on to win convincingly 7 – 34. in difficult conditions, windy and cold but thankfully good underfoot.
Harry Rogers crossed for the Regent score with Jonny Martin, Marc Murphy and Harry Patterson, who added one conversion to give Banbridge a 7 – 17 lead at the break.
Banbridge’s Ben Bradshaw ran in two in the second half with Scott Graham adding a third. Patterson added one more conversion to give a dina score of Regent House 7 Banbridge Academy 34.
Banbridge Academy will now play Rainey Endowed in the Ulster Schools Bowl Quarter Final on or before the 8th February. Full draw below.
