Campbell College welcomed Clongowes Wood to Fox’s Field on Saturday afternoon for our second Ulster v Leinster Schools clash with the Belfast side taking the opportunity to test their extended squad.
We joined the game shortly after half time with Clongowes leading 5 – 14, Paddy McAllister the scorer for Campbell.
The Leinster side pretty much dominated the second half running in three tries, one converted, without reply.
Campbell had their moments, but they were few and far between and the enthusiastic Clongowes defence were able to rebuff their efforts.
