We caught up with this game towards the end of the first half.
Lurgan college had worked a 0 – 14 lead thanks to tries from Luke Forsyth and Josh Woods; Harry Bird adding the conversions.

Banbridge edged territory and possession in the second half but despite an early try from Peter Coughlin they were unable to make their territorial advantage count and Lurgan increased their advantage with two tries of their own.
The first came from a speculative kick which was chased down by second row Ben Marsden who produced an athletic off load to set Bird clear for a run in, the impressive out half converting his own try.

The final try was awarded to Lurgan’s hard working Marsden who drove over form close range, Bird converting to give a final score of 7 – 26 in Lurgan’s favour.
