CIYMS claimed a vital 11 – 15 away win to consolidate their top half placing in the Kukri Ulster Rugby Championship Division One. Despite the defeat Coleraine picked up a losing bonus point which keeps them clear of the bottom three.

Matthew Killgore started the scoring for CI with an early penalty before crossed for an unconverted try. Coleraine responded with two successful penalties.

crossed for the decisive try, converted by Kilgore, to push CIYMS nine points clear. Coleraine’s full back crossed late on to give a final score of  Coleraine 11 CIYMS 15 in an entertaining game.
