Schools Cup: Campbell College 11 Methodist College 10

Cup favourites Campbell College came out on top in a tight quarter final on Saturday morning recording an 11 – 10 win against fierce rivals Methodist College.

Campbell edged the first half to lead 6  – 3 at the break and a second half try by extended their lead to 11 – 3 to the delight of the large crowd.

Methody’s broke loose in the final minutes to cross for a converted try but it was too little too late with Campbell winning by a single point.

Ballymena Academy20–9BRA
Dalriada School17–5Bangor Grammar
RBAI38–0Sullivan Upper School

The draw for the semi finals was made on Saturday morning with Campbell College now facing Dalriada next Tuesday. 

  • RBAI v Ballymena Academy Kingspan Stadium, Monday 29th February, 2.30pm
  • Dalriada v Campbell College Kingspan Stadium, Tuesday 1st March, 2.30pm
