Ireland will travel in some confidence following their convincing win, albeit against a disappointing Wales, last weekend and their cause will be helped by their enhanced knowledge of the French side, with Paula Fitzpatrick and Heather O’Brien both plying their trade at Toulouse.
However, France had an even more convincing win last weekend, 39 – 0 against a rated Italian side, with their big back performing extremely well, and this game has all the makings of an epic battle up front.
