Ulster will say goodbye to one of their most talented players at the end of the season with Paddy Wallace announcing his retirement yesterday.

Ulster’s all time appearance record holder has decided his bruised and battered body has had enough and will now be focusing his attention on the Paddy Wallace Rugby Academy. CLICK HERE

A massively talented player who suffered during his early career due to his unrivalled skill-set and versatility Paddy initially (and literally) bounced between fullback and outhalf before reinventing himself at inside centre where he became one of the best line breakers in Irish Rugby.

His hard work and determination turned him into a surprisingly ferocious tackler though he did pick up more than a few knocks which somewhat stifled his international recognition during a period when he was playing the . . .
