Ulster Rugby: Injury Update

John Afoa suffered a disk injury in his back in the Heineken Cup match against Saracens and will be out of this weekend’s match against Connacht.

Rory Best sustained a significant ankle sprain in the quarter-final. He will be out of rugby for between six and eight weeks.

Ruan Pienaar suffered a reoccurrence of his AC joint injury. It is anticipated that he will be out of rugby for at least six weeks.

Andrew Trimble suffered concussion in the game against Saracens and will now follow the normal return to play protocols.

Dan Tuohy has a fractured hand. He will undergo surgery this week and is not expected to return to rugby until May.
