PRO12: Ulster v Glasgow Preview

by

, ,

Our spies have been out in full the last few days and we think we have the starting side for Friday Night.

Ian Porter does indeed start at scrum half, as we predicted, Michael Allen starts on the left wing ahead of David McIlwaine (who has been struggling with a knock but should make the bench), Deccy Fitz should start at tighthead instead of Lutton and the back row will consist of Wilson, Doyle and Williams with Wilson and Williams expected to swap depending on the circumstances!

This gives a starting  XV as follows:

Ulster (Probable): Payne, Trimble, Cave, Marshall L, Allen, Jackson, Porter, Black, Herring, Fitzpatrick, Muller, Tuohy, Williams, Doyle, Wilson. Replacements: Court, Annett, Lutton, Henderson, Henry, Marshall P, McKinney, McIlwaine.

Some big calls there from Anscombe as the pressure starts to mount on the “Cowboys” shoulders. There are huge expectations for Ulster this season and the voluble support will be tearing down the new stands if Ulster should dare to lose three games on the bounce . . .
