PRO12: RaboDirect PRO12 Round 10 Wrap Up

Week 10 of the RaboDirect PRO12 updates here. It continues to make good reading for Ulster supporters.

Sunday’s 19-12 win over Scarlets in Llanelli gave Ulster a perfect 10 out of 10 start to the season, the best ever start to a campaign since the competition went home and away in season 2003/04. It also gave Ulster a 9 point lead clear at the top of the table with just over half of the regular season’s games left to play.

Despite their loss, Scarlets maintained their second place in the table, the only non-Irish side currently in the top four.

Munster’s bonus point win over Glasgow Warriors had the desired effect of returning the Irish province to a Play-Off spot, at the expense of their opponents. In the process Ronan O’Gara kicked his way through the 900 points barrier.
