QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY

Played 3, Won 2, Drawn 1.  Queen's look to be the main challengers, their only draw being a Covid Cancellation aginst Malone. The AIL2A team are keen to make their mark against thei AIL1 opponents having sniffed at promotion in recent seasons.

No. 2 67%

BALLYNAHINCH

Played 3, Won 1, Lost 2.  Hinch have managed to complete all their fixtures to date but two last minute defeats have knocked the AIL1A side off their stride. However, they have picked up 3 bonus points to stay in contention. Don't rule out a late run from McLaughlin's men.

RAINEY OLD BOYS

Played 3, Won 1, Lost 2.  A big defeat followed by a Covid Cancellation saw Rainey come out fighting for their first win last week. They'll need to show more of that grit and determination, and bag a few bonus points, if they are going to stay in the hunt.

BANBRIDGE

Played 3, Drawn 2, Lost 1.  The boys form the Bann won't be happy with their progress to date. A draw, a Covid Cancellation and a loss is not what they would have expected. However, last week's draw against league leaders Armagh will give them something to build on.

No. 5 27%

MALONE

Played 3, Drawn 1, Lost 2.  The Red Sox were pushing for a play off place in AIL1B when the league came to an abrupt halt last season. However, when 2/3 of your points come from a Covid Cancellation, something has gone wrong. They will need to pulll up those famous red socks and grind out a few wins.
