We caught up with the Ulster Schoolgirls Senior Plate Semi Final between Dromore High and Regent House at the Dub on Wednesday afternoon.
It was a quick turnaround for Dromore who faced their second match in three days, after their Quarter Final success on Monday, and it was no surprise that Regent took the early initiative as they created a few chances in the first quarter.
The Dromore defence held firm and they started to push forward more often in the second quarter. However, defences dominated in this close encounter and we went into the second half with the game still tied at 0 – 0.
Regent had a strong second half as they increased their attacks but Dromore continued to work hard in defence to keep Regent . . .
