We caught up with the Burney Cup Semi Final between Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Bangor Grammar at Havelock Park on Wednesday afternoon.

RBAI celebrate the opening goal.

RBAI took an early lead as James Smith netted after four minutes. Bangor battled back and created a few chances of their own but the teams went into the second half with RBAI looking fairly comfortable with their 1 – 0 lead.

John Cunningham added a second goal for the reigning champions 35 minutes in to give RBAI a 2 – 0 lead as they went into the final quarter.
