We caught up with the Burney Cup Semi Final between Sullivan Upper and Banbridge Academy on Wednesday afternoon at Havelock Park.

The teams battled out a scoreless first quarter. Banbridge looked to have the initial upper hand but Sullivan came more into the game as the quarter progressed.

It was a good start to the second quarter for Sullivan as they pushed forward regularly. However late pressure from Banbridge ended with a goal from Stephen Grattan and a 1 – 0 lead to take into the second half.
