On Wednesday evening Premier leaders Queens were the visitors to Havelock Park to play AIL leaders Banbridge in an Anderson cup Semi Final.
On a bitterly cold evening Queens were first on the scoreboard through Charlie McKeown, with a goal within 4 minutes.

From then on, it was all Banbridge. Owen McElhinney equalised on the 10th minute followed almost immediately by Adam McKee with his first of the evening to leave Banbridge leading 2-1 at the end of the 1st quarter.
The second quarter had only just started and up popped Callum Robson to increase the home sides lead to 3-1, which they took into halftime.
