I caught up with our friends at Carrick Grammar and Sullivan Upper as they enjoyed an extended squad hit out ahead of a series of cup games.

The match was played in wet and windy conditions, so much so, I had to move from my usual spot along the baseline to the sideline to prevent the driving rain in my face, and more importantly down the lens.

All credit to both sides who battled out a lively game in the conditions. The more experienced Carrick side probably edged the chances created but both defences were on form and the game ended as a 0 – 0 draw.
