On a bitterly cold late Saturday afternoon, with a biting wind, Pegasus played Lurgan in a Denman Ulster Shield Pool D game at the Dub.
I covered the 1st half before the cold got to me!
Perhaps it was the numbing cold but neither side could get on top of the game. Pegasus edged play in attack. The Lurgan keeper saved 2 stingers from Erin Pimm and Annie Cunningham saw her close range shot rebound off a post. Halftime was reached scoreless.
The game was settled by a solitary Pegasus goal scored by Beth Kennedy for a 1-0 . . .
