On Wednesday lunchtime Belfast rivals Grosvenor School and Methodist College met in the McCullough Cup Tier 2 Final at Shawsbridge.

Methody were in control in the 1st quarter but without creating any clear cut chances. Grosvenor has occasional breaks but didn’t test the Methody defence. The 1st quarter ended scoreless.

It all changed in the 2nd quarter in a 3 minute spell. The Grosvenor attack clicked.

Man of the match, Finlay Harrison, opened the scoring for Grosvenor

A penalty corner move saw Man of the Match, Harrison Finlay, score from an angle on 17 minutes for Grosvenor to lead 1-0.
