We caught up with the Women’s All Ireland Hockey League fixture between Portadown and University College Dublin on Saturday afternoon at Edenvilla.

UCD had a strong first quarter with a tenth minute goal from Leah O’Shea before Mikayla Power made it 0 – 2 in the last minute.

Leah O’Shea scored a first half brace for UCD

O’Shea added a third in the second quarter and the Dublin girls took a 0 – 3 lead into the second half.

Emily Adamson pulled back a goal for Portadown.
