On Sunday afternoon, fresh from their previous day’s victory, Loreto faced University of Ulster Elks at the Jordanstown Sports Village in the All Ireland League.

Though Elks started brightly, Loreto gradually wore them down, attacking from deep, at pace. Siofra O’Brien’s strike gave Loreto the lead on 16 minutes and a 1-0 1st quarter lead.
The Loreto pressure was relentless and though Elks managed some breaks, their attacks were snuffed out by a swarming Loreto defence.
