We also caught up with the start of the Ulster Hockey Women’s Premier League under the lights at Comber Road as Lisnagarvey got off to a winning start against Ballymoney on Friday night.

The teams sounded each other out for most of the first quarter until Garvey’s Beth Ravey opened the scoring, 15 minutes in, for a 1 – 0 lead which they took into Q2.
