On a damp and drizzly morning, it was great to see some sparkling hockey played in this schools friendly between Methodist College and Sullivan Upper on Saturday at Deramore Park.
A strong Methody team attacked straight from the whistle and soon took the lead when Marcus Pepper fired past the keeper from close in at a corner routine.
Sullivan responded quite quickly when Toby Aiken drove into the circle and fired past the home keeper.
It was pretty even in the first quarter until the home side regained their lead when Oliver McGreevy beat the keeper with a rising . . .
