We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Junior Plate Final between Castle 2XI and Ballyclare 2XI at Stormont Pavilion on Sunday afternoon.

Alana Bell scored a Q1 brace for Ballyclare.

Ballyclare got off to the best of starts with a Q1 brace from Alana Bell and with no goals in the second half Ballyclare took a 0 – 2 lead into the second half.

Castle celebrate their Q3 goal.

A revitalised Castle pulled one back in Q3 and the teams went into the final quarter with the score at 1 – 2 in Ballyclare’s favour.
