Intermediate Cup: South Antrim 8 Owls 0 Semi Final

We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Intermediate Cup Semi Final between South Antrim and Owls at Friends School on Saturday afternoon.

South Antrim showed why they are run away winners of Senior 2 as they progressed to the final in some style against an Owls side who minds appeared to be focused on their ongoing relegation battle.

South Antrim opened the scoring after 4 minutes.

Vicky Hogg opened the scoring for South Antrim on the fourth minute for a 1 – 0 lead in Q1.

The Senior 2 Champions added three more at the end of the first half as Daisy Donnelly netted and Ellen Rodgers added a brace for a 4 – 0 lead going into the second half.
