We caught up with Day 4 for the playoff stages of the EuroHockey Club Trophy 1 Tournament on Easter Monday at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club.
There were three play off matches, for 5th, 3rd and 1st place, the day starting with the 5th place play off and working up to the Final between CAM92 and Lisnagarvey.
In a final worthy of the occasion CAM92 took a 2 – 1 lead into the second half and they increased the lead to 3 – 1 at the end of Q3.
Roared on by the crown Lisnagarvey pulled it back to 3 – 3 with five minutes remaining. Unfortunately no furtner scores and the Final was decided on a shoot out.
CAM92 kept their nerve and lifted the trophy thanks to a 4 – 2 win in runs.
