We caught up with Day 3 of the EuroHocky Club Trophy Tournament at Lisnagarvey on Easter Sunday.
It was the final day of the pool stages, the biggest battle being between Scotland’s Grange and Ukraine’s Vinnitsa to determine who would progress in second place in Pool A. Grange squeezed through with a 1 – 0 win.
The Welsh team Cardiff and Met kept Lisnagarvey honest with a big win against Czech side Slavia Prague to put Cardiff top of Pool B for a couple of hours. However a couple of early goals saw Lisnagarvey ease home to top Pool B and set up Easter Monday’s Grand Final against French side CAM92.
