We caught up with Day 2 of the EuroHocky Club Trophy Tournament at Lisnagarvey on, a much drier, Saturday.
The games were generally much closer as the teams battled for Pool placements, including the firs game between Grange and CAM92 whch was 0 – 0 at half time beforee CAM fully engaged the famed French flare in a devestating second half.
Slavia Prague and Tevere left it all to the last quarter but even then there was nothing to seperate them, Prague going ahead only for Tevere to tie the game six minutes later.
The fnal game between hosts Lisnagarvey and Wels side Cardiff and Met was a battle of the heavyweights as they stood toe to toe to slug it out. The lead changed 4 times in a thrilling match but the score ended up on the right side for the home crowd at the final whistle.
