Club Hockey: EuroHockey Club Trophy I 2025 – Day 1

We caught up with the opening day of the EuroHockey Club Trophy I tournament at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club on Easter Friday.

The competition features seven teams from across Europe, playing in two pools with the inter pool finals to be held on Easter Monday. Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, representing Irish Hockey, are hosting the tournament over the four days.

Day 1 at Comber Road got off to a cold and damp start but it warmed up on the pitch fairly quickly with a total of 18 goals scored across the three games.

The results from Day 1 are shown below.
