The third game at Havelock Park on Thursday was the Junior Stevenson Cup Final between Banbridge Academy and Rainey Endowed.
We are particularly fortunate to have the defending All Ireland Junior and Senior Schools Champions in Ulster. However, Banbridge, the defending Ulster and All Ireland Junior Champions are very much in a rebuild phase and they faced a classy Rainey Endowed side who are hitting their peak.
Thankfully the rain had largely eased off but the camera connections had suffered a bit of water damage causing the auto focus to jump all over so I had to carry out few running repairs through most of the first quarter which remained scoreless.
Thankfully everything was (mostly) back working in time to capture Rainey’s Lexi Scott as she hopped, skipped and bumped her way back to the halfway line after picking up . . .
