WE caught up with the early morning Junior hockey clash between Sullivan Upper and Glenlola Collegiate at Stormont on Saturday morning.

Sullivan took the lead in a tightly contested first quarter with Sarah Burns opening the scoring for the home side.

Sullivan’s Sarah Burns scored two goals in the match against Glenlola.

Despite both sides creating chances there was no score in the second quarter and the teams change ends with Sullivan defending the 1 – 0 lead.

The match was keenly contested throughout.

Sullivan had the edge in the third quarter and Burns was on had once again to add their second goal to give Sullivan 2 – 0 lead as the teams went . . .
