Junior 4: Owls 2XI 0 Ards 3XI 3

We caught up with, our current faves, Owls HC 2XI in their Junior 4 league match against Ards 3XI at Roughfort on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately due to tailback on the West Link I was about 10 minutes late getting to this one and Ards were leading 0 – 2 on arrival. The Ards goals came from a penalty corner strike from Olivia Thompson and a field goal from Mia Allman.

Mia Allman scored Ards’ second goal

The second quarter was fairly tight. The most noticeable chance was a missed far post tap in for Owls and the teams went into the second half with Ards defending the two goal lead.
