Ulster University Elks welcomed University College Cork to Jordanstown Sport Village for a Women’s All Ireland Hockey League match on Saturday afternoon.

The teams spent a bit of time testing each other out in the first half. Elks looked to have the better of territory and possession but the match was still scoreless as the game went into the second half.

The Elks finally got their breakthrough at the start of Q3 with an impressive penalty corner strike from Lucy Craig but the teams were level ten minutes later as Sarah Murphy replied in kind for the visitors . . .
