On Saturday, at lunchtime, close neighbours, Belfast Harlequins were the visitors to the Dub for a Women’s Premier fixture against Queens.

Ellie Montgomery converted a 2nd minute penalty stroke

Queens won a penalty stroke, in their 1st attack of the game, dispatched by Ellie Montgomery to put Queens 1-0 up in 2 minutes.

Jodie Simmons, right, scored a brace for Queens

Queens dominated the quarter. Jodie Simmons 12th minute strike gave Queens a 2-0 1st quarter lead.

The 2nd quarter wasn’t any better for Quins. Zoe Wilson struck on 17 minutes to give Queens a 3-0 halftime lead.
