We caught up with the Women’s EYHL match between Ulster Elks and Old Alex at Jordanstown Sports Village on Saturday afternoon.
The Elks were quick off the mark with a field goal from Betty Scott after five minutes and they took the 1 – 0 lead into the second quarter.
It was a fairly cagey second quarter from both sides but despite both keepers being tested there ware no further scores and Elks took that single goal lead into the second half.

The Elks found the net for the second time on the 40th minute with Zahra Lowry netting in open play to give Elks a 2 – 0 lead.
