It was back to Newforge on Saturday morning for the Stevenson Cup Group Match between Victoria College and Larne Grammar.
Larne got of to a bright start with their Ireland stars Isla Allen and Anna McRoberts’ prominent but Victoria were starting to enjoy the bulk of territory and possession by the end of the first quarter, which ended goalless.
Victoria made their pressure count towards the end of the second quarter when their captain Annie Irvine got the final touch at a penalty corner to give the home side a 1 – 0 lead.
