U16 Representative Series: Ulster 1 Scotland 1

On Friday evening we caught up with the first of three matches between Ulster U16 boys and Scotland U16 Boys at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club.

It was a fairly sedate first half as both teams sounded each other out without either getting on top.

Ulster came close in the first half.

The second half was a bit livelier and Ulster took the lead midway through the third quarter with Charlie Taylor finding the net after a goal mouth scramble to give Ulster a 1 – 0 lead.

Charlie Taylor opened the scoring in the second half.
