I caught up with the U13 Girls Finals at Stormont Pavilion on a dry and bright Sunday. It was a busy morning and early afternoon with 12 teams competing in the Cup and 12 competing in the Plate.
The teams played the group stages in three groups of four who played in a round robin with the top two of each group plus the two highest placed 3rd placed teams going through to the quarter finals.
Coleraine and Rainey progressed to the final of the Cup Competition with Coleraine winning the Cup and Banbridge and Pegasus progressed to the final of the Plate competition with Banbridge winning the Plate.
I arrived towards the end of the group matches and I caught up with our friends . . .
