School Friendly: Banbridge Academy II 2 Royal School Armagh II 1

The second hit out at Havelock Park on Tuesday afternoon featured Banbridge Academy and the Royal School Armagh 2nd XI’s, the squads including a couple of players each that had played in the first game.

This one was also a tight game thought it took a bit longer to get going and there was no score in the first and second quarter despite each side having periods of dominance.

Banbridge finally got the scoreboard ticking over at the start of the second half with a fine strike by Ciara Patton from the edge of the D to give the home side a 1 – 0 lead.

Ciara Patton opened the scoring for Banbridge.
