Early Sunday afternoon was grey, overcast and rain threatened, as Ulster and Leinster took the pitch, at Havelock Park, Banbridge for the 2023 U16 Interprovincial decider.
In a scoreless 1st quarter both teams took time to settle, with midfield’s dominating.
In the 2nd quarter, from a 19th minute penalty corner Alfie Le Quesne cut back inside to open the scoring for Leinster.
