On Tuesday afternoon, in game one of the U14 Superleague Tier B Semi Finals, played at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Clounagh Junior High School, Portadown faced Royal School Dungannon.
Both sides showed nerves in the opening minutes, as players failed to control passes.
It was Clounagh, who settled quickest. In the first real attack of the game the ball pinged around the RSD ‘D’, before Rose Redmond slotted the ball home on 4 minutes, for a 1-0 lead. It was a midfield battle for the rest of the quarter.
