On Tuesday afternoon, in game two of the U14 Superleague Semi Finals, played at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Cookstown High School faced Lurgan Junior High School.
There were 3 scoreless quarters in the 2nd semi-final. Both teams strove to dominate midfield and, at times, took control, providing chances for their forward lines, troubling both keepers.

As the game entered the 4th quarter, it seemed to open up, with both sets of forwards, heavily involved. As the game wore on it was Cookstown, who started to control proceedings. Lurgan survived a series of penalty corners, only due to keeper Ella Haggen’s heroics, in goal, keeping the Cookstown forwards, at bay.
