Wednesday saw the Ulster Hockey Schools Senior sides take centre stage at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club for the 1st XI Superleague Tier A and Tier B Semi Finals. First up was the Tier B Semi Final between Royal School Dungannon and Lurgan College.
There was a 10 minute delay at the start of this game due to clashing colours in the bright sunlight, a problem eventually solved by RDS players turning their shirts inside out.
The quick change didn’t appear to affect the Dungannon players as they took the lead on resumption as Erin Mathieson knocked in a lay up by FRU Fave Evie Girvan.
