Lisnagarvey Hockey Club was the venue, on Wednesday evening for the Tier B Superleague Final between Regent House and Royal School Dungannon. A large school age crowd of supporters surrounded the pitch to enjoy the game, as well as to discuss such diverse subjects as homework and relationship issues!
Dungannon controlled the early minutes and settled quickly when Evie Girvan struck the opening goal after only 6 minutes. As the quarter progressed Regent came more into the game. Dungannon led 1-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.
Dungannon struck quickly in the 2nd quarter. A 17th minute Erin Mathieson goal followed by a Hannah Heron goal on 26 minutes gave Dungannon a comfortable 3-0 halftime lead.
