Junior 9 Cup: CI V 1 Lisnagarvey V 5

I caught up with the Junior 9 Cup match between CI Ladies 5th XI and Lisnagarvey Ladies 5th XI early Saturday afternoon at Belmont.

It was a fairly close opening quarter with both sides attacking freely, but neither side found their touch in front of goal.

Louise Sinton opened the scoring for Garvey in the match against CI in the Junior 9 Cup.

Garvey opened the scoring towards the end of the first quarter with a fine strike from Louise Sinton, but CI were level within a minute as Mollie Sawyer dabbed the ball over the line for the equalizer as the quarter came to an end.
