We caught up with Ulster University Elks, for the second time this week, as they prepare for their return to the All Ireland Hockey League this season.
Saturday’s opponents were Dublin’s Pembroke Wanderers who looked to enjoy the pre-pass back deluge that delayed the start by 5 minutes.

Refreshed by the downpour, both sides had plenty of zip in the opening exchanges and Pembroke got off to the best start with a goal after 8 minutes as Rachel O’Brien turned in a rebound to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead.
