Club Athletics: Ulster Senior Track and Field Championships

On Friday evening and Saturday, Athletics NI staged the annual NI and Ulster Senior Track and Field Championships at the Mary Peters Track. Some 300 athletes participated in the complete range of Track and Field disciplines.

Unfortunately the sunshine of previous days had given way to overcast, warm, humid conditions and the dreaded midges!

Track Events

Rebekah Osborne (Dromore) won the Senior Women’s 1500m, from Rachael Gibson (North Down) in a PB of 4.26.76
