Junior Plate: Queen’s University IV 1 Belfast Harlequins IV 2 AR Final

Queen’s University 4th XI followed their 5th XI on Pitch 2 at Stormont Pavillion as they took on Belfast Harlequins 4th XI in the Junior Plate final.

This was a very tight game, especially compared to the free scoring opener, and the first quarter ended 0 – 0 despite a lively start from Queen’s.

Queen’s came close in the first quarter.

The students continued to push forward in the second quarter, but, the Quins defence continued to hold firm and we were still looking our first goal as the teams changed ends.

Queen’s continued to attack in the second quarter.
