Early Saturday afternoon, on Pitch One, at Stormont, Armagh II played South Antrim II in the Ulster Junior Cup, in what was game one of a triple header. It was grey and overcast, but at least it didn’t rain during the first game.

Armagh just shaded a scoreless 1st quarter, in possession but couldn’t take any of the chances created.
South Antrim’s possession and territory grew in the 2nd quarter and was rewarded when Polly Boyd opened the scoring after 28 minutes, leaving South Antrim leading 1-0 at halftime.
The game ebbed and flowed in the 3rd quarter, with neither team dominating. Chances were scarce for both teams. South Antrim retained their 1-0 lead.
