Lisnagarvey HC was the neutral venue for Saturday morning’s Senior Schoolgirls Plate Semi Final, between Larne Grammar School and Omagh Academy.
In a scoreless 1st quarter Larne settled first but Omagh came back strongly to dominate the period, testing Larne keeper, Yannah Feeney twice.
In the 2nd quarter it was Larne, who were in control, bringing saves out of Omagh keeper, Rhianna Orr. It became obvious that both sides had midfield dynamos in Sophie Egerton for Omagh and Isla Allen, for Larne. Most plays went through these players. It remained scoreless at halftime.
