Yesterday Stormont was the venue for the Gibson Cup, played between Friends School III and Methodist College III.

Possibly nerves took over, but two young teams found it hard to settle in a scoreless 1st quarter. Neither team could impose themselves, which resulted in a congested midfield. Friends had the opportunity to take the lead but Methody goalkeeper, Anna Wilson, saved a penalty stroke on 14 minutes.
